We Care About the Melrose Community, and Beyond

Stephen’s Auto Body & Towing has been an active member of the Melrose community, contributing in many ways from helping with events to tow floats in a local parade to hauling equipment for community associations. Whenever the opportunity has presented itself Stephen’s Auto Body & Towing has been available. The size of our facility also allowed us the chance to bring back to life one of the city’s aging fire apparatus vehicles, with a little hard work & some fresh paint this vehicle was able to serve the community once again.

Melrose Alliance Against Violence

Stephen’s Auto Body & Towing is a big supporter of Melrose Alliance Against Violence whose mission is to “raise community awareness of domestic and teen dating violence, and to promote programs that work to reduce violence and encourage healthy relationships.” We are a big supporter and sponsor of their cause and invite all of our guests to visit their site and learn more about this organization.

Saugus Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign

Our team has recently contributed time and resources to help Saugus police in their breast cancer awareness campaign. We worked with the Saugus police department on a car design appropriate for this worthy cause and then painted one of their vehicles (pictures below).

Other Melrose and Beyond Community Participation

Over the past forty years we have never shied away from chipping in and helping out our community. This is our home, our community, and we firmly believe that if you are fortunate enough to help others then you should! Thanks to that philosophy we have had a wonderful and solid relationship with our towns people, the town local government (and its different departments), and with many other adjacent towns as well! Over the years we have actively participated in Babe Ruth League, Reading Lions Club, City of Melrose offices, Melrose Babe Ruth, Saugus Police Department, Melrose Centennial Committee and many more highly worthy causes.

We also encourage everyone who can to do so!
